Until Apple grows a brain on this issue, leave it to a third party utility to help make things a little easier. Until Apple does something to make this easier, I guess they’ll just have to continue to condition Mac lovers why this idiocy actually makes sense (some think so).
The top menu bar has been a staple of OS X for awhile now and it is hard to change. #2 might be harder to implement because it could involve the cooperation of the developers of all applications for OS X. Give an option to the user to embed the application menus inside the program menus.Make the menu bar follow the active application. To get around this, Apple needs to do one of the following: Visually, the interface for managing multiple monitors in OS X is solid. You can give each screen it’s own background (harder to do that in Windows). Changing arrangement and settings of multiple screens is really easy with OS X. It doesn’t always detect the proper native resolution for the monitor, but that is an easy thing to correct.
Driver installation is a non-issue because Apple so tightly controls the hardware. So, no matter where the application is, the menu bar is within a short distance of your workspace. When you operate an application on a particular screen, the menu bar goes with the program. You can move them around in relation to one another, etc.
You install the video cards, install the drivers, and then all the screens will appear in your Display Properties. Let’s look at REAL WORLD use of multiple screens in both operating systems. But, how does this translate into real-world use? That’s where I fail to see the point of it in the design of OS X. This means that any flick of the mouse upward will hit the menu. So, the idea with the top menu bar in OS X is that it covers the entire top of the screen. More simply stated, the idea is that the larger the target, the easier it is to use. This is important to ensure that your mouse moves properly between the two monitors. It has an equation and everything. Then drag the boxes to rearrange the boxes to match your actual physical setup. Then click the Identify button to see which monitor is represented by each box. If you don’t see both of your monitors, you can click the Detect button just below. If both your monitors are properly connected, you will see two boxes at the top of the display settings with numbers in them.
Note: You can also use the shortcut Windows key + P and choose Extend. Then select Extend these displays under the Multiple displays section. You can also choose to show only the contents of the first or second monitor or mirror the contents of the first monitor on the second monitor. Then click Display. You will see this option in the left sidebar. You have to press these keys at the same time. The Windows key has a Windows logo on it. Then press Windows + I on your keyboard.Make sure that your cords are connected securely before proceeding. Note: Some monitors require that you select the input source before you can see the screen turn on. Then make sure to turn on your second monitor. Connect the second monitor to your computer and a power outlet. If you only have one monitor port available, you will have to buy a splitter to divide the single port connection between two monitors.
Older interfaces include VGA and DVI ports. Most modern computers have ports for HDMI and DisplayPort (DP). Look for an available video port on your computer or laptop. Look for an available port on your PC.
Note: If you want to know how to find out what GPU you have, check out our guide here. This information will be typically labeled as “Number of Displays” or something similar. You can go online and check the specs of your GPU on the manufacturer’s website.

With two monitors, you can surf the web on one monitor, while you watch a movie on the second one. If you’re the type of person that opens lots of programs at once, fitting all of them in one monitor can quickly clutter up your screen. Getting another monitor can help you stay productive and organized.
